    Tired

Filed under: Self Improvement — joanne @ 12:37 am

She called me again, at night, and asked me what to do next.

I’m feeling tired, and unbearable, honestly. She did not get what I mean, at all, since the beginning. She refuses to think, she refuses to takes the responsibility, too. I’m not trying to abandon her, it’s just not my duty to live her life for her.

    1. I guess your friend must be feeling helpless and lost. I’m sure she knows deep inside what to do. She may be refusing to accept it or want a “second” opinion to confirm what she feels. Sometimes they just want a listening ear. :-)

Had an experience a while ago when a friend was having some problems. Sometimes it was indeed tiring to hear the same story repeated over and over and the refusal to take responsibility as well.

It’s hard to change others’ opinions/viewpoints and what we can do is to take heed and learn the lesson that they may not see, until they are ready for it.

    2. Thank you for your wonderful insight. But in her case, she will even call in the middle of an argument or when her partner was just step out for a break, and ask me what to say or what to do next, real tiring huh?

I’m always willing to listen, and sometime give her my shoulder to cry on, but not carry her problems for her.
