Pamper yourself
Finally, I’m able to take a rest after my daily routine, and settled Dawn and Seer into their bed.
Most of the time when we are doing all the daily routine and trying to make others feel good, we forgot to give some reward to the most important person, that is Ourselves! When we’re dedicating so much energy to others, it is especially important to make time in our schedule to treat ourselves to the best. We are the best teacher to show others the best example on how to treat us to the best, what can we expect from others if we ourselves can’t treat ourselves well? It is essential to be especially good to ourselves after all the necessary things done for others, and so to feel good and look our best.
Choose some or all of the following suggestions, to really give yourself some time off, to relax your mind, body and soul:
1. Make yourself a cup of coffee, sit at the balcony and facing to the boundless beautiful natural view with the most comfortable position and read a good book, like Tuesdays with Morrie.
2. Take a good bath with a warm water, maybe add in some essential oil to relax yourself.
3. Jump into the theater or buy a movie (no piracy please) that appeals to you, then spend some time to just losing yourself in the story.
4. Go through your wardrobe and get rid of every item of clothing that doesn’t look great on you; and maybe, if you could, go out and shop for new one!
5. And now the best one, stay in your bed and do nothing until you feel like getting up
Feeling good, I mean, really good, can only be achieved when the needs of body, mind and soul are all addressed …. Further more, it is only great when we feel good and look good to ourselves before we get others feeling good to get along with us! It might be the best hours we have spent for ourselves that enable us to recapture ours strength to carry on.
Cheers

Great advice.
I think the most important point is that it is all so simple. I think too many people believe that being happy is difficult or complicated.

Hi Matthew, thanks for visiting. You are right, most of the time, being happy is just being simple
Hope to see you back soon.

Very good advice. I especially love seeing a good movie in a theater. Unfortunately with two kids, I rarely get a chance to see a movie and my spouse is not too thrilled for going theater after two kids. I missed all the good old times on Friday night taking my spouse to the theater holding hands and totally relaxed. I even enjoy the 10 minutes in movie preview time while the theater lights are not turned off and I can talk to my wife with all the wildest dreams that I have in the world. Those moments happen before our kids and I dearly miss my wife and the quality time together.
