Somewhere
My sister-in-law called me once, several months ago, she asked me how am I doing and hope to see me again kind of thing, I then promised to call her back sometime, and will pay her a visit when I’m back to our hometown.
Time passed, but I never did.
Until one day, my sister called and told me she has been admitted for almost a month, lung problem. It was sometime in July last year.
I was there, first time meeting her after so many years. She hold my hand and talked with me dearly like I’m her little sister who she misses so much and finally manages to see again. I told her we shall meet again and we can talk like before once she’s recover and return home.
I thought I could see her again, I thought I could talk with her again like we did in the past. But life just isn’t what we thought it would be.
Unexpectedly, that was also the last time I saw her.
She passed away two days after my visit; while I’m still thinking I should keep in touch with her more frequently, and now I have no more chance …
The old saying goes, “Do not wait until it is too late.”
Excerpt from the book “Pay It Forward”:
“I wonder where people go when they die. They have to go somewhere Right? I mean, it would be just too weird to think about Mrs.Greenberg not being anywhere. That would just be too sad.
So, I’ve decided that she’s still out there somewhere.”

[…] And the recent happening of my sister-in-law passed away at the age of 40, reminded me again to love and keeping contact with your family […]
