    Buying Attitude

Filed under: Healthy living — joanne @ 7:08 am

Just had my lunch with friends, and we chat about consumers buying attitude. What Jason told us is true, if we could cultivate the kind of attitude in our daily life, we can sure have better quality products and a better place to live.

He told us, in Japan, when people buy thing, they will go for the near expire item first, instead of grabbing the newly arrive item. This is what they believe, people helping people! Everyone doing their bit to help to clear the old stock first, so there will be less wastages; also, to help on saving the environment by producing less rubbish! And the benefits will eventually come back to us. What a wonderful attitude to instill!

Here in Malaysia, we normally won’t buy the near expire products, we will check for the newly arrive and grab the one with longer shelf life product. So, what will happen with the expired products? we create more rubbish and do more damage to our environment, also the producing power! What a sad thing :(
